In our call yesterday, Marcia and I got up to speed with the lastest and greatest ADHD-friendly apps that are perfect when you have your own business. The term “app” is an abbreviated form of the word “application,” and in the last few years, it’s been used in regard to software programs.
We couldn’t have done this without our special guest, Mark Kawate. Mark is a self-described “ADD Geek” and knows exactly which apps are best when you have ADHD. You’ll want to hear his recommendations.

Wise words from Mark
1) Just use apps for things you are struggling with. If your current system works as it is, keep using it — there is no need to fix something that isn’t broken.
2) An app should be easy to learn. If a new app takes longer than 20 minutes for you to understand, ditch it!
3) Don’t get overwhelmed by technology. It might seem scary, but it doesn’t have to be. Stop in to the Apple store or any other place you can get apps for your phone and see what’s available — try them out. If you are struggling, then give Mark an email. He very kindly offered to help all our listeners with any apps questions they have. You can reach him at mark@kawate.com. Also check out his app reviews at www.ADHDapps.me and www.appsforADHD.com.
