Marcia and I covered lots of points, including these listed below. As always, Marcia shared her tips as a business coach and as someone who fairly recently discovered she has ADHD. My tips and suggestions come from my years of coaching ADHD adults, and the solutions I found worked for my dyslexic brain.

  • How separate what other people think you should do from what you know is right for you.
  • How to ignore unsupportive family and friends so they don’t affect your business.
  • What you should do if family members aren’t supportive of your ADHD diagnosis.
  • How to keep clear boundaries around your time. Just because you work for yourself, doesn’t mean you don’t work!
  • How to keep good relationships when you work with one or more members of your family.
